This Privacy Policy explains how Artifex Customs, doing business as Artifex Crafted ("Artifex Crafted," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit www.artifexcrafted.com, contact us, request a project quote, place an order, or subscribe to shop updates.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the Website, we may collect:

• Contact information: name, email address, phone number, mailing or project address, and messages you send us.
• Project information: requested service, dimensions, materials, project description, budget, desired completion date, and other details you provide.
• Order information: products, quantities, billing and shipping details, order status, transaction identifiers, and shipping or tracking information. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored directly by Artifex Crafted.
• Email subscription information: email address, name if provided, signup source and date, subscription or confirmation status, and unsubscribe preferences. Our email provider may also record technical information associated with signup and email delivery, such as IP address and device information, and email engagement such as opens and link clicks.
• Technical information: browser and device information, pages visited, referring pages, approximate location, and interaction or conversion information. Some of this information is measured in aggregate through privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics, while optional Google analytics and advertising measurement is used only when you allow optional cookies.

3. How We Use Information

• Respond to inquiries and prepare project estimates.
• Process orders, payments, shipping, and customer service.
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Website.
• Measure aggregate page traffic and selected site interactions.
• Send subscribed shop updates about new designs, small batches, products, and services; manage subscriptions; and understand email delivery and engagement.

• Measure purchases and advertising performance when you allow optional cookies.
• Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and safety obligations.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Website uses necessary cookies or browser storage to remember your shopping cart, retain your cookie choice, provide security, and support essential site functions. Google reCAPTCHA is used to protect forms from spam and abuse and may collect device and interaction information for that purpose.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate site measurement, including page views, visitors, referring pages, device information, approximate location, and selected interactions. Vercel Web Analytics does not use third-party analytics cookies and is designed so its analytics data is not tied to an identifiable visitor across different days or websites.

Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads measurement are optional. Their tags are loaded only when you allow the corresponding category in our cookie notice. Select Choose Cookies to control Analytics and Advertising separately, or use Allow Optional or Decline Optional for both. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie Settings in the footer. Browser controls can also block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect features such as the shopping cart.

Our signup forms are provided by MailerLite. The embedded form loads resources from MailerLite and may process technical information needed to display, secure, and submit the form. Marketing emails may use tracking pixels and tracked links to report email opens and clicks. This email engagement measurement is separate from Vercel Web Analytics and optional Google website measurement.

5. Service Providers and Disclosures

We disclose information as reasonably necessary to providers that help operate the Website and fulfill requests, including:

• Vercel for website hosting, delivery, and aggregate Web Analytics.
• WordPress, Contact Form 7, and WooCommerce for forms, product information, and order management.
• Stripe for secure payment processing.
• EasyPost and shipping carriers for rates, labels, and delivery.
• Google reCAPTCHA for form security and, with your permission, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads for analytics and conversion measurement.
• Adobe Fonts for delivery of website fonts.
• MailerLite for signup forms, subscriber records, email delivery, subscription management, and email campaign reporting. See MailerLite's Privacy Policy for more information about its processing practices.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction. We do not sell personal information for money.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including customer service, project and order records, warranty support, dispute resolution, and legal, tax, or accounting requirements. The retention period depends on the type of information and why it was collected.

We retain subscriber information while needed to manage your subscription. After you unsubscribe, we may retain limited records of your unsubscribe choice so we can honor it and avoid sending further marketing emails.

7. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we maintain about you, subject to applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping needs. California residents may have additional rights where California privacy law applies, including rights to know, correct, delete, and opt out of certain sharing.

You can unsubscribe from shop updates at any time using the unsubscribe link in our marketing emails, or by contacting us at info@artifexcrafted.com. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop order confirmations, shipping updates, or replies to your inquiries. To reduce email-open tracking, you can block remote images in your email application; this does not prevent link-click tracking.

Optional Google analytics and advertising measurement can be declined through our cookie notice or footer Cookie Settings. The Website does not currently respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9. Children's Privacy

The Website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided information to us.
